Day 1 : Arrive in Fes
We arrive in Casablanca and our guide drives us straight to Fes and to our beautiful Riad. For dinner we visit Thami’s and are not disappointed. The spice meatball tagine is delicious. We head back to our Riad excited about exploring Morocco’s oldest imperial city.

Day 2 : Medieval Meknes & Roman Volubilis
After breakfast we visit the 17th century medieval city of Meknes, a beautiful walled city. After exploring the castle we stop for lunch. Next we drive to Moulay Idriss, a picturesque town located on two hills, followed by a visit to the ruins of Volubilis. Evening visit to Riad Le Maison Bleue for a lesson in cooking traditional cuisine before enjoying the fruits of our labour.

Day 3 : Fascinating Fes
Today we are exploring Fes El Bali, the Old City built in the 9th century. We admire the Moorish architecture of the Medersas, a Koranic school and the Karaouine University. We visit the souks of the Medina and pick up some street food. After we head to Fes El Jedid, the new city built by the Merinid dynasty in the 14th century where we see the Royal Palace. Tonight we are invited to dinner with a local family, the company is wonderful and the food mouth-watering.

Day 4 : Casablanca Then Homeward Bound
After breakfast, we head straight to Casablanca. We ask our driver to go past Rick’s Café, the mythical saloon from the 1942 film ‘Casablanca’. After a quick photo opportunity we drive to the airport to board flight home.
